Each lesson focuses on a specific GCSE food mock question and it’s related topic.The lessons are divided in three sections, Starter, Main and Plenary. The lessons focus on Organic food and drink, Planning a menu for CHILDREN, Planning a menu for LATER ADULTHOOD. These lessons can be delivered by a specialist or non-specialist. The lessons are very clear, with model answers and clear instructions throughout. These lessons will help prepare students to answer food questions in their exam. What the students are asked to do: The students are provided with the Question, they are then encouraged to recall their prior knowledge on the topic and answer the question under timed conditions. Students will then explore the topic by creating mind maps and discussing the facts page provided. A model answer of the question has been included to help assist students to peer and self assess their answer. This food mock question booklet is suitable for GCSE students studying Food, Preparation and Nutrition (Eduqas Exam Board). It can be delivered by a specialist or non-specialist as each questions has it’s own mock answer and mark scheme to follow. The booklet starts by providing students with top tips to answering questions in the exam paper. It then goes onto introducing the (x2) 8 mark questions. The booklet focuses on 1 question at a time. This booklet gives flexibility as students can complete it independently at home or as a lesson at school.
